POLICIES

BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION

Guest name, address, telephone number, arrival- and departure time, and a method of payment are required when booking a stay or activity at Arctic Igloo Resort. Online bookings must be paid in full by credit/debit card. Guests are responsible for printing out the receipt, target description and booking terms. Please make sure to obtain the confirmation after payment. Arctic Igloo Resort is not responsible for a failed booking. If you don’t get the booking confirmation and the receipt to the email address, which you have provided, please contact us as soon as possible.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in starts at 4 pm and Check-out is at 11 am. 
Guests are required to provide a valid photo ID and a credit card for incidental at the time of check-in.

Want a little extra time?

  • Early check-in (2:00 PM ~ 4:00 PM) – $200 (subject to availability)

  • Late check-out (11:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM) – $200 (subject to availability, must be arranged in advance)

Just let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request! 

Please note: If check-out is past 11:00 AM without prior approval, a $200 late check-out fee will automatically be charged to your reservation.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations must always be done in writing. A cancellation becomes valid immediately when Arctic Igloo Resort receives the information about the cancellation in writing. We are aware that due to urgencies and illness, our customers might have to cancel their reservations. As this is always a possibility, we highly recommend the purchase of travel insurance as soon as possible, so your trip will be protected. Due to high demand, our cancellation policy is limited by the following:

Lodging & Packages:

    • For cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival, 50% of the total is non-refundable
    • For cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival, 100% of the total is non-refundable

Customers may request to reschedule their reservation 30 days or more before the scheduled arrival date. A $50 processing fee will be applied for each rescheduling request. All new dates must fall within our operating season, which runs from August 25 to April 10, and rescheduling is subject to availability. Requests made within 30 days of the arrival date are not eligible for rescheduling and will be handled according to our cancellation policy.

Activities & Experiences:

    • Guests can cancel their trip with no reason for a full/partial refund. Rescheduling is free, but subject to our availability.
    • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before the experience’s start time.
    • 50% of the total price will be applied as a cancellation fee if guests cancel the trip 2-7 days before the experience’s start time.
    • If you cancel less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Late Arrival / No-shows:

Punctuality is extremely important when traveling with a group. Our waiting policy is limited. If guests do not arrive within 10 minutes, the guest will be considered a no-show and no refund will be given. This policy pertains to all our tours/activity/experience, and we are not responsible for delayed or missed appointments.

Cancellation Prompted By Us:

Guest safety is our major priority; hence, we reserve the right to cancel or alter any itinerary as conditions require. Any changes made will be in the interest of Arctic Igloo Resort guests or as a result of circumstances beyond our control.  Should we need to cancel a tour/activity/experience/package, we will refund 100%. In case of partial cancellation, we will do a partial but fair refund.

 

GUEST BEHAVIOR

At Arctic Igloo Resort, we follow good habits and order rules. We reserve the right to break the contract and stop providing services to guests, if they are in violation of the house rules or if they disturb other visitors with their behavior. However, you must pay for the cost of your accommodation and the additional services that you have subscribed to, and no refund will be issued.

GUESTS’ RESPONSIBILITY ON DAMAGE

Guests are responsible for all damages to the igloo or its property happening during the stay. Smoking is strictly forbidden in the room! In case of smoking in the accommodation, Arctic Igloo Resort will charge a cleaning fee of $ 500 minimum.

NUMBER OF GUESTS IN ACCOMMODATION

Only guests who are registered at the reception are allowed to use the accommodation. Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.

LIABILITY

Arctic Igloo Resort assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, theft, or loss due to any cause.  We will not be responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or death to any guests, including but not limited to allergic reactions to any substance or food. After agreeing to the terms and policies, you are releasing Arctic Igloo Resort of any responsibility or liability claims.
